Responsibilities
- Providing expert compliance advice to support the company’s strategic initiatives and operational decisions.
- Monitoring and analysing regulatory developments within Jersey and EMEA, ensuring timely implementation of necessary changes.
- Overseeing compliance risk assessments and developing proactive strategies to mitigate potential issues.
- Collaborating with internal teams to embed compliance standards into business processes.
- Supporting the development and delivery of compliance training programmes for staff.
- Conducting regular compliance reviews and audits, ensuring ongoing adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Engaging with regulators and external stakeholders to foster strong, transparent relationships.
- Leading and mentoring a team of compliance professionals to uphold and promote best practices.
Requirements
- Circa 10 years' experience in Risk & Compliance within a professional services or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks relevant to Jersey and the EMEA region.
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic compliance initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex compliance concepts clearly and convincingly.
- Demonstrable leadership experience with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
