  • Develop and optimise the BD&M operating framework, including processes, tools, templates, and performance metrics to ensure efficiency and scalability.
  • Lead rapid delivery of operational priorities—such as proposal development, collateral creation, CRM management, and system enhancements—to maximise impact and productivity.
  • Lead brand development initiatives, ensuring a coherent narrative and positioning across all channels, including employer branding and digital campaigns.
  • Manage and develop a small but skilled team of BD&M specialists, fostering talent growth and encouraging best practice at all levels.
  • Collaborate with client teams to deepen relationships, optimise cross-selling, and enhance revenue streams through targeted strategies and pipeline management.
  • Leverage digital marketing, CRM systems, and analytics to drive demand generation, ensure data integrity, and measure ROI.
  • Ensure all BD&M activities comply with relevant regulatory standards, including cross-border regulations related to fiduciary and legal services.
  • Engage with cross-disciplinary teams and senior leadership to promote alignment, share insights, and support strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Circa 12 years proven experience within BD&M for fiduciary, legal, or professional services firms, preferably with a background in fund administration or corporate governance.
  • Degree-level education or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong track record in developing and motivating high-performance teams, including offshore or multi-jurisdictional teams.
  • Expertise in managing change initiatives and delivering strategic projects in fast-growing or transforming environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Hands-on experience in pitches, RFPs, account management, and CRM/data management tools, with a keen commercial acumen.
  • Deep understanding of fiduciary and compliance-led services, with the ability to translate technical offerings into compelling value propositions.
  • Cultural sensitivity, adaptability, and experience working across multiple jurisdictions.
