Square Mile Connections is proud to partner with a rapidly expanding international Non-Banking Financial Institution in London, seeking a permanent Transaction/Relationship Manager - Loan Agency. This exciting opportunity invites a seasoned professional to take ownership of an allocated portfolio of Loan Agency related clients and transactions, acting as the main point of contact throughout the entire deal lifecycle. The successful candidate will be integral to the team's success, building and nurturing client relationships, overseeing legal and transaction documentation, and responding to client inquiries and issues with expertise and composure.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of Loans/Loan Agency related clients/transactions - Facility/Security Agency.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Liaise with internal and external counsel regarding transactions.
- Assist in drafting transaction documentation.
- Review and provide commentary on transaction documentation.
- Handle Amendments and Waivers as required.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to structure and close transactions efficiently.
- Attend client meetings with new and existing clients.
- Address client queries and issues promptly.
- Participate in transaction closings.
- Monitor internal systems and ensure accounts operate within established guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and monitor associated risks.
- Oversee timely cash flow execution, fee billing, and reporting.
- Support and assist less experienced colleagues as needed.
- Provide cover and support for team members during absences.
- Engage with management regarding potential product changes impacting the team.
- Promote adherence to risk and regulatory standards, identifying issues for escalation.
- Foster a diverse environment that reflects the company brand.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements
- Solid experience managing a portfolio of Loan Agency related transactions.
- Strong working knowledge of Loan Agency products and services,
- Experience in reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting relevant transaction and legal documentation.
- Familiarity with LMA documentation is essential.
- Comprehensive understanding of Facility and/or Security Agency related deals.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient IT skills.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
