SMC817 – Governance / Structured Finance Transaction Specialist
Overview:
Exciting opportunity to join a large, international Non-Banking Financial Institution. The successful candidate will join an established team and will act as the main, day to day point of contact for a portfolio of clients/transactions. This role will entail managing/overseeing allocated Structured Finance and Securitisation related transactions, dealing with Company Secretarial matters and Corporate & Administrative related duties.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of Securitisation and Structured Finance related transactions.
- Liaising with clients and internal/external contacts regarding transactions.
- Drafting Company Services Agreements, Fee Letters and ancillary documents.
- Documentation review.
- Managing company secretarial obligations for Special Purpose Vehicles.
- Ensuring that all SPVs comply with relevant regulations.
- Organising board meetings.
- Attending meetings with clients, as required.
- Preparing client billing files.
- Reviewing and ensuring timely settlement of invoices.
Skills/Experience:
- Previous experience of working within legal or structured finance (experience of working for a Corporate Services provider advantageous).
- Experience of reviewing Capital Markets and/or Structured Finance related transaction documentation.
- Ability to prioritise workload and to meet agreed deadlines.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as using own initiative.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
