Senior Transaction Manager

As Senior Transaction Manager, you will manage a portfolio of Corporate Services/Structured Finance deals, throughout the lifecycle of the transaction to include (but not limited to); SPV's, Restructurings, Aviation, Retail etc.
Our client is seeking someone with a solid background in Corporate Services/Structured Finance, ideally with Agency & Trust background to manage and develop their own portfolio, and working with the business to further develop overall growth objectives.

Responsibilities Include:

  • You will have responsibility for managing the delivery of transaction services, while building strong relationships to a varied portfolio of clients.
  • Provide expertise and guidance in relation to capital markets transactions, acting as a point of escalation both for clients and internal teams.
  • Acting as UK director for UK SPV mandates.
  • Ensuring obligations are met, and all tasks are completed effectively and efficiently in order to close a transaction within required timelines/agreed deadlines.
  • Managing the setting up of SPVs/client companies for structured finance, aviation leasing and global restructuring transactions.
  • Reviewing, negotiating and executing legal agreements associated with structured finance, aviation leasing and global restructuring transactions from the perspective of the SPVs/client companies.
  • Ensure all transactions comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Liaising with external parties, such as legal and tax advisors, investment managers, trustees and agency groups, arranging banks and others to achieve client objectives.
  • Management of compliance, risk, control framework and processes.
  • Assisting with the ongoing client/business development and relationship building in order to increase business growth.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • A degree in law, business, finance or equivalent relevant field is essential.
  • Ideally 5-10 years of work experience in a financial services environment.
  • Experience in a legal, compliance or company secretarial department is desired, or alternatively experience at a Corporate Services provider or within Agency & Trust.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex corporate transactions.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate services, transaction management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proactive, and able to work autonomously with ability to make critical decisions.
